My Facebook was hacked/spammed?

I clicked on a link and that made all my friends get a link "from me" that I DID NOT SEND. It was an inappropriate link and when I tried to delete it from posts, it wouldn't delete! So I hurriedly deactivated my Facebook account. How can I get rid of this link so that I can have my facebook account back? And can I sue Facebook for allowing such a link in my name to be sent to my friends when I didn't send it? Not that I want to sue Facebook, but this was pretty violating and embarrassing!
