Is it worth upgrading to the new Xbox 360 slim?

I already have an old Xbox 360 Pro/Premium,from what i've heard,the Xbox 360 slim fixed the RROD and all the other errors like E74,but i thought they already did that with the Xbox 360 Jasper which is the one i have,so do you recommend to me to upgrade to the new Xbox 360 slim?,please tell me the new good things like why does it have a better cooling system and all that hardware stuff
