MY LG RUMOR TOUCH WONT READ SD CARD!!!?

I have a Lg Rumor Touch and now for some reason my Micro SD Card is unreadable to the phone, now it IS NOT the SD Card that is the problem. The reason for this is because the card works perfectly in computers and other mobile devices but not my LG. Is there some form of being able to hack into my cell phones OS and do some configurations to the software. I have opened the phone to see if the SD slot was somehow damaged or somehow detached, but the hardware of the phone is fine. If there is some form that I can get into the OS through command prompt or if someone knows a logical way to fix this and by logical I don't mean, "just get a new phone dude." I would like a answer to this, whether that answer is I have the same problem or whether the answer is that there is a way/no way to fix this. Thank you.
