Psn account help please?

So I created an account in my ps3 with an email that I didnt know was in use. I just made the account for the sake of getting an account with a new name. I thought I was going to be fine because I never needed emails for accounts just to log in and the password. Then that ps3 got stolen. After that the psn network got hacked and you needed to change your password when it went back online. Now I have my ps3 back but I cannot change the password in my ps3 because I don't have the same one and I cannot change password throught email because it is being used. So how can I get that account back. Do you think I can call playstation and tell them that story?
